Just some basic lead follow exercises but I likey what I'm seeing. Apparently he try's to steal Randy's line about braking confidence but then corrects himself when he actually pushes the pedal hard.

Looking good, cool video. Speaking of Randy when are we going to see him test out the S550?

Cool video, that's pretty much what I want to do in my car..nothing crazy but pushing the limits a bit here and there.

That M4 hauls tookus in a straight and carries some serious speed into corners.

Big thing I noted is the lack of roll in the S550.

Yeah, he's not really trying too hard. Even with that he seems to be able to close up in the corners. Obviously very gentle corner exits so the lead group pulls away quickly. I just like seeing the car being used for what I plan on using mine for. I plan on bouncing off of the curbs, but mines not a media day car with a MFR plate on it either. I will be turning off the traction control. #NoDriverAidsPlease

It's helpful to be in the proper gear. Sounded like he was idling around those corners.

:amen: outside of trying to get some decent lap times in during open track days, my favorite thing to do is a dirty hot lap; driving hard, but overdriving ever so slightly on the throttle and getting the tail out. I find oversteer way more fun when it's not entirely intentional.

The M4 has 10 less hp, 6 more tq. and 200-300 less lbs, combine that with the DCT and it won't have any problem pulling away. But then again optioned the same it costs $25k more.

It's also consistently putting its crank numbers at the wheels. Completely underrated.

The M4's I was looking at yesterday were all north of $70k. That's $38k more than my $34k Mustang. :)

Great video! Great audio! Great post! Who the heck was the Driver? Why did he hold back or was he? I mean was he told to take it easy? Lets keep expectation low? We don't want to build to much enthusiasm? We don't want people to actually think there getting a Beemer Eater for $25,000 less?

That was frustrating to watch those and that BMW keep walking away like he was changing a tire. WTF. I mean...he couldn't or wouldn't really catch those guys?

If I was Dave Pericak...and I saw that video...i'd be pissed. I'd want that video buried under a pile of other videos showing what he claims this 2015 is capible of. I can't be the only one that thinks that, I wish the BMW driver was in the Mustang.

That was imbarrassing if you ask me. That Mustang has to pull better than that out of the turns. I can tell you this with all honesty...right now I'm glad I haven't placed my order yet.

PLEASE! Lets get someone in this 2015 that can and or will drive this thing.

The M4's going to walk the S550 on a straight and eat it up in the corners, as much as I'd like to say differently. Stiffer chassis, much lighter curb, way more power and torque, better gearboxes, better brakes, and a better eLSD. Its performance envelope is leagues beyond the E92 which was always brought up in comparison with the S197. The only potential Bimmer eater is going to be a GT350 and up.
