Also quick note. Anyone following the exact break in procedures on their 500? The car I drove at Track Attack, chassis # 693, had 157 miles on the car! Doesn’t Ford recommend 1000 miles before track use??? Lol

The GT350 track attack was the same way. I think my car (#13) had 65 miles on it. It was the first GT350 track attack.

@Tomster, here’s another bit of info I remembered. To the guys going to the track, especially on a regular basis. We were informed once coming in from hot laps, if you stop, even just waiting to get to your spot, put the car in park and get your foot off the break! There is a heat soak spot in calipers that can warp the Front rotors while breaks are on and sitting still.

This is something they teach you at HPDEs. Don’t use the parking brake either as it can cause a hot spot on the rear brakes.

Yes, many reasons to do a cool down lap.

I think that's doable, Tom. Measure the height and length of your "GT-350" decal and send it to me.

Also, do the current decals have a clear overlay?

But dude, if you can get in that class, that would be WAY KEWEL!
