I have a 2019 GT that has TPS and I purchased some new 2024 GT take off tires and wheels that don't have any TPS sensors installed I would like to run them until tires worn out and them install new sensors when getting new tires. Will the only issue be that the warning light will come on or will this cause other problems? Thanks Bill

It should just be the dash warning light.
If you are a member of Costco, etc, they install just the sensors at a very reasonable price. I had all 4 replaced in my Edge late last year and it was right at $200 out the door.
I have had two separate instances where the TPMS has alerted me early enough to get safety out of heavy traffic. I don't like to go without a good functioning TPMS.

You can buy OEM sensors for a tick over $100 and they will self learn. I would do that.

I only use OE sensors and highly recommend you get some nothing worse than wasting a $250+ tire because didn't know it was low or flat ( happened to me in a late model TPMS free Volvo) grrrrr.

The annoyance of the light will be your only issue.

I'd think you'll only see the light in the dash.

I'll echo other's comments: TPMS sensors can be cheap insurance. On a road trip last year in a rental, TPMS let me know something wasn't right. I stopped on the edge of a large city, with nothing but a can of green slime, which wasn't going to be fix the issue. I was able to limp to a tire shop. Lucky. A one-off. It happens.

While I manually check pressures, I like having TPMS. We lay into our cars pretty good sometimes. A warning could let me know to pause on that and get something sorted, versus learning of the issue after-the-fact.

If you do go with the sensors, only by Ford OEM items from a dealer site or local. Third parties on eBay sell old products with dead batteries or counterfeit sensors that don't work. We've had several threads of people installing, re-installing and t-shooting bad products.

I bye motorcraft sensors from Rock auto for half the price of the dealer ship. Just put tires on my 2015 mustang and replaced all four as long as I was I doing it. Did my 2011 3.7 last year when I put on different wheels, again I did all four. never had a problem with the sensors. I think rock auto has enough traffic that I won't be getting old stock. It could be an issue for less trafficted sites. Had a sensor go out on my 2011 MKX two years ago and replaced all four in that one with motorcraft sensors from rock auto. If you would have a bad sensor they will replace it. Ford won't warranty it unless they install it.

I do all the tire changes myself so I just bye parts. Motorcraft sensors at rock auto are $50.00 each and Ford wanted $109.00 each.

To answer GTP's question... the take off wheels and tires I purchased had only a few miles on them at the dealer so I didn't measure the tread depth.
