Hi All,

I'm a noob when it comes to cars and new to this mustang life.

I have a 2014 mustang, It's showing TPMS Fault. Is it because the sensor is dead and it needs to be replaced or the sensor needs to be recalibrated?

Its showing form the last few weeks, it has aftermarket rims and Tires maybe sensor too.

you can try to get them recaled and see if that helps. But you prob have one that is bad. That is what happened on my truck.

Sure, I'll ask the Ford dealer to have a look. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it!

Typically sensors have a battery lifespan of 6-7 years so they do start to die out eventually and the signal becomes weak or its just dead.

You could do a tpms calibration and see if that helps sync it. If not then new sensors would be needed.

these are only a year and half old so batteries should be good i would hope, the fact that the front two die out and come back at the exact same time is what had me thinking its gotta be something else
