Yeah a bunch of us don't seem to need any retraining. Mine just bolted on and started working after a few miles.
There seems to be a handful of us that have issues with the universal N4SD sensors. I am one of them. Luckily I have a local Firestone
dealer near me willing to TRY and reset them at no charge. I will be installing Eibach Sportlines this week and when they give car alignment they are going to try and retrain the sensors.
My new wheels had OEM Ford transmitters, and I had a lot of trouble getting them to auto-sync. Driving around this little town all week with no update. Then after 5 miles on the highway at 70mph they suddenly started working. Then they acted a little weird after that.

But I took my car for a different service that same week, and the dealer used the tool to train them quickly, and at no charge.

Dr, just swing by the dealer with a box of donuts or something. :D
LOL. If I cannot get them synced at Firestone this week I will hit up dealer.

Jason at GetYourWheels told me that he only uses OEM Ford sensors, just to avoid problems. So he was surprised that I had issues. Like I said, they wouldn't work for the first few days until I got up to highway speed. Curious.

Not really, I have had 2 brands of sensors, we are just going to focus on using one main brand of sensors. We considered the other and used it because members wanted a rubber style stem, but after many discussions we prefer the steel stem so that is what we are going to use.

FWIW, l received my wheels (3 days ago) with the rubber valve stem sensors and they were recognized instantly.:cheers:

this right here! the non Ford oem sensors will have issues auto syncing, if they don't say Ford on them, you're going to have issues period

I'm curious as to which sensors Paul Need4SpeedMotors installed on mine as they sync'd straight away. l have heard that when using non-Ford sensors some will sync just fine and others have issues.

Mine synced after a couple of miles driving but never read the correct pressures. After about a hundred miles they wouldn't read at all. Pretty sure they aren't Ford sensors.

Paul said he was getting with another company. Maybe the new sensors they will be selling will work.

Thats great news their syncing.

SO we have 2 types we were using

Orotek Rubber stem
ITM Steel Stem

We made a decision as a team to use the ITM fully now, but both work just some Oroteks were a hit and miss and I dont want to have my members go through that.

Paul said he was getting with another company. Maybe the new sensors they will be selling will work.
Yes sir they will, with any component it can be a hit and miss sometimes, and we like to do our best to ensure they work properly and quickly. Needless to say the few small cases of bad sensors we have corrected for clients no questions asked.
