I'm a ford guy, but have to agree the dodges last forever and you don't have to remove the cab to change the turbo.

What Dodges last forever? I've got allot of friends with Dodges and they have plenty of issues. No offense, they're okay trucks but really no better than any other. I would rate a 7.3 right up there with them. That and I have several different Ford trucks and have done everything from turbos to replacing head gaskets without pulling the cab. I will definitely admit it's allot easier with the cab off and it's much easier on a Dodge regaurdless.

This is my war horse. I have owned my Lightning since 2003. It has towed my race car and other peoples cars thousands of miles.
As well as the dually and 36 foot trailer I also have a single car trailer that was towed all over God's green earth by a '93 Lightning. Add some load leveler bars and it was a decent tow vehicle, other than no room for storage and 10 mpg pulling the trailer. Even with the load leveler bars it really needed some stiffer springs in the rear. I stil have the truck, but it never gets used for towing any more.

Tow with a 2004 F-350 6.0L 2WD Lariat dually....nothing fancy but got it for a steal (I think) @ $18K 4yrs ago with only 41,000 miles. Tows my 7,000lb 24ft enclosed like nothing.... been solid as a rock.

Our dually is also a 2004 F350 Lariat with the 6.0 in it, and it also has been solid as a rock.
