Just so many know, this is now not a FRPP calibration. The original release was, but this is now not a FRPP cal, it's a Roush cal. The issues really need to brought up to Roush to fix it (its in the cal).

If anyone else is having issues it's best to immediately contact Roush through [email protected] and explain the issues you are having. They will have to do something if they see enough people having a problem.

I just sent an email. Thanks for the info and everyone's suggestions. I haven't been posting very much here but have been following very closely. Here's a copy of what I sent if it helps others with their emails.

To Whom It May Concern,

I purchased a 2015 Mustang GT with Manual Transmission and Performance Pack vehicle at Town And Country Ford in Bessemer, AL in March of this year. It has the Phase 1 Supercharger kit installed by Town And Country on it including Roush warranty.
Apparently myself and many others are having issues with the calibration on these cars. I'm sure you will soon be receiving lots of emails regarding this. The problem is; Torque Management/Advance Trac/Traction Control or something else is pulling power within the calibration to cause a huge decrease in power. The problem seems to occur most at the top of 1st and 2nd gear and sometimes at the beginning of 2nd and 3rd. The car feels like it falls on its face for a couple seconds then wakes back up again. If fuse 62 is pulled to disable the before mentioned functions, most of the power is restored. It feels like a 627 hp car SHOULD feel. I'm writing to request a new revision be released under warranty to correct this issue. Myself and many others have paid a lot of money for this supercharger package. Please take the time to look into this matter and resolve these issues.

*NOTE*
This problem also occurs with Traction Control and Advance Trac DISABLED via toggle switches.

Sounds good! It seems as though a few guys have gone over to Lund for their tune. I aim to maintain my warranty for now. I'm sure they will do something when they see multiple people are having similar issues. There are a lot of options when it comes to superchargers and Roush has always been a great choice.

Yep! I've actually been contemplating going to Lund as well. I'm going to give Roush an opportunity to hopefully do right by us. Like you, I would like to retain my warranty but if push comes to shove I'm going Lund lol

I get what you're saying, but I (just like everyone else here) dropped a big chunk of change on this setup. I don't think we should have to spend another $800 just to have it run right. I hope they come through.

I completely agree! Ive wondered if they go so conservative with the tune because maybe they are aware of the oil pump gears breaking under high torque. That would def explain why the torque management is kicking in. I'm not sure at what point these gears are having issues but it's just a thought. Either way..... I want ALL of the power.

I spoke to FRPP tech support today again and asked if they have any updates. I spoke with Tom and he is supposed to be reaching out to Roush to see if they've had any complaints about this. According FRPP they have had ZERO complaints about this kit, and I am the first person to have any issues. I told Tom about all of the people having issues on here. If this is truly the case and no one has complained to the manufacturer about these problems, I guess that's why they're not putting much effort into resolving this issue. I'm going to send an email to Roush as well, but if anyone has the actual Ford Racing kit with the Ford Racing part number Please give Tom at FRPP tech support and let them know you're having these issues. The phone number for them is 313-594-9947.

Another interesting thing that has come to mind is whether or not the 2015 RS3 has these same issues. I'm not an expert on the RS3 and haven't been able to find a lot of info about what is included in the supercharger part of that car, but from youtube videos I've watched I've heard a few people state that it's the same phase 1 kit that we all have. The difference perhaps is just the calibration. The RS3 is rated at 670 HP, and the kits on our cars is only rated at 627hp. Maybe the RS3 has different injectors and is running more boost... I have no idea. If it is the same kit with the same injectors and supercharger pulley, I want the tune they're using for the RS3!

If you think you are experiencing a calibration issue, that would be the responsibility of Roush. I still haven't heard anything back yet, but I'm hopeful.

On a 14, this is what the upgrade to the Phase 2 comes with:
ROUSH Fuel Pump Voltage Regulator to moderate fuel flow and ensure a proper fuel-to-air charge ratio
ROUSH Plug-n-Play wiring harness where no modifications are needed to the vehicles fuel pump wiring system
ROUSH Cold Air Induction System with 110mm MAF, washable/re-usable open element air filter and air dam
Bolt on 80mm Supercharger Pulley

Again, on a 14, to go from a Phase 2 to a Phase 3 is a calibration upgrade.

Phase 2 for 15 will be different. New fuel pump setup, injectors, calibration, plus other stuff.

That is a great question.
Why is it different from RS3 cars to compared to GT Mustangs with an installed at the dealership Roush Stage 1 supercharger? Are they using different tunes? That's what it sounds like? If the tunes are the same, which number would be correct for the "actual" HP and TQ numbers then?
Does anyone know?

I know the user here "Doodguy" recently dyno'd his phase 1 and wound up with about 550rwhp on a Mustang dyno.

The RS3 has a calibration that is unique to the production vehicles rated at 670HP the retail kit we produced with Ford Racing has the cal rated for 627.
