I recently purchased the plastic covers that snap in on the sides when you put the top down on a 2020 GT. The foam pads are not stuck so I have no idea where to place them. Can someone provide pictures of their covers so I know exactly where to locate these pads, and are the covers as simple as snap-in, pop out? I've only been able to find one video of them being installed and he did not even install them correctly. Thanks.

I have a 2021 gt ,I believe in 2022 ford stop providing them ? Because they were causing wear marks and warranty problems on the tops so I have them but probably will never use them for that reason ! Good luck to you summer is coming great days ahead!!!!!

Here you go. Note the small black pads highlighted. Mine kept coming away so I finally took them off and reapplied with contact cement. Also, if you want a cheap storage solution for them, I took an old queen size pillow case and simply machine stitched it up the centre to create two separate pockets. I then just fold it over and put it in the front of the trunk so I have them with me.

Thank you. My car is still in storage because it just will not stop snowing here but once it comes out I'm going to put these things in just to see how they fit. I think I'll try something like a Gorilla brand two-sided tape at first to make sure they're working right, then I may do the contact cement trick.. your info is much appreciated.

I’ve got a Love the Drive screen and winter rubber. Although I don’t drive it as much in retirement, it still gets out in the winter and the top is down regularly. My current streak top down every month has been running since March 2022. This in Toronto.

A Love The Drive screen is probably in my future. I'm in Eastern Ontario & didn't get the car till last October so this will be my first summer. Road salt is heavily used here so I'm kind of leary about using it in the winter. Glad you're enjoying yours.

I picked up my 2016 GT w/ only 18k miles on it, over the winter. Dealership in MA drove it up to me in Vermont (I had already gone down and test driven it) and I tucked it right into the garage.

I did take it out one day when it was cold enough that the roads were frozen (2 miles of dirt to get to pavement), but then gave it a good bath on the first warm day.

With as much road salt as they use around here (on the paved roads) mine won’t be driven in the winters. It only takes a couple of years to ruin a clean car. I’ve got other cars with AWD and snow tires for the winters.

And on topic, my little plastic tonneau caps are bubble wrapped and in a small box in the front of the trunk. I don’t really see using the trunk space all that much anyway.
