I am looking to order a Heritage Edition, but wouldn't mind a few other colors and options. Ive contacted most of the dealers near me and they all have no allocations. Is it too late to find a dealer with an allocation for a 22? I dont really want to pay 20k over for a Heritage Edition after theyre done being produced. Do dealers get more allocation throughout the year or is it all set for one year? My dealer says they have 1 allocation and they already sold it. What would be the best way to get one?

Give me a bit and I'll check my list. I found 2 dealers with allocations and a tiny dealer that may have an allocation available. I'll message you in a bit.

Go on their dealer search page and click within 100 miles. Once that page opens up go to the web address bar and change the 100 to 500 and hit enter. You’ll now be able to search much farther out. Once you’ve exhausted all those options pick on the dealers at the far end of that range, enter their zip code and start over. That’s how I found my ‘21 in the color I wanted.

Did you get a car that they had already ordered, or check with dealers who had cars already for an allocation?

If they ordered it that counts as a dealer allocation. It was already on their showroom floor.
Im meaning an allocation that they gave to you to custom order with. Not an allocated dealer stock car. I dont think any Heritage Editions will be for dealer stock

there absolutely will be and they will have huge mark ups. there was one on ebay for 20 over that sold in a day. there is one on autotrader right now for 50 over. if anyone has leads im looking for an allocation as well, non heritage.

I disagree, just the word “Heritage” means they can throw a bigger markup on it and call it “extra rare” like they did with the GT350

bingo. the 2020 350r heritage is averaging a +/- 50k premium over a comparable 2020 350r. this topic is constantly bickered on the 350 forum. I think its a safe assumption that the 500 heritage will see a similar premium and people will be looking to scoff them up fast.

Been calling dealers who have cars listed for sale, half of them are customer orders and half arent even really for sale. Not sure why theyre even listing them. Found 1 dealer with 2 allocations for 10k over on a base.

I reached out to Wayne Akers Ford in lake worth, FL yesterday. They have a heritage GT500 CFTP arriving in June 2022. Asking north of 130k tho 😮. Thought I would pass along.
