Too cold??

When I started off for work this morning the outside temp gauge showed -9 degrees. The next time I looked it showed this. After work It was normal. Any ideas?

Has anyone seen their outside temp gauge go below -9 degrees?

-10 with Windchill -25. 500 mile road trip and car ran fine

Thanks, just wondering if the negative temps were outside of the range of the sensor. Maybe it has a range of -10 to 110,don’t know. Seemed weird that it would just go Blank —-F like that.

My Ecoboost was displaying -39C yesterday morning when i started it, I didn't check the display in Fahrenheit but that would be about -38F.

My car did the same thing again this morning with the _ _ _ F reading. It was about -6 before it happened.

mine trips out from time to time too but yes I've seen mine @ -9
