Hey everyone. I got a 2015 V6 about a week and a half ago, and I notice that on cold starts the motor shakes almost as if the idle is too low. Once the engine is hot, the shaking ceases. Any ideas to what this could be? I have seen a lot of threads of high RPM at cold start but nothing like mine.

Thanks.

Your Cyclone is just so damn happy to be on that it can't contain itself.

What is your RPM at cold start? A little shake is normal.

My GT does it a little bit when warming up. Just some slight dance for maybe 5-10 seconds.
Happened to my E46 BMW too.

I think mine was doing the same thing when I first got it. Was the RPM stick jumping up and down? between 1-1.5?

had same issue on gm product and it wzs the sensor telling the fuel system if it was getting E85 or not. I let it go as once it ran a bit, all was good. Turned out it was pumping fuel as if it wzs E85 when it was not and washed ot the cylinder walls. Luckily Gm replaced the long block under warranty.

I've noticed too. Isn't there when extremely cold but when in the 40-60 degrees seems to hunt for a minute.

I have a 2016 Mustang v6 and has the same issue a random kick when the car is idle or standing at an stoplight. I was curious about this and I plugged a code-scanner to the car and what I found out was a "dtc freeze frame code p0306", that means a misfire on cylinder 6. I have not had any check engine light since I bought the car 6 months ago, so I asume that this is happening not too often enough to trigger a check engine light.

My question is Any of you have connected a scanner to see if you have had a misfire on any cylinder even if you never had a check engine light? maybe indeed there is an issue with all the 3.7 engines.
