I hear the guy on you tube did it and then his gps stopped working completely he just copied the card on to a computer and that happened, I'd suggest not messing with it

It stop working because you need to select the Primo.exe path for it again.

An update on "glitches" for the November 2015 TomTop Model:

When you're in "Sync" Mode and the phone is actually connected via bluetooth, the mute button is in Chinese. Anyone else have this issue? (picture below for reference)

Yes. Same issue. No fix for it. And I doubt tomtop or kkmoon will ever have a software update for it since they told me 1 month ago to wait for a software update because they are going to ask the manufactor. Which was a lie.

But I really want to try the other version that another guy has on here that has a better interface. He got it on Dubai I think. Just wish he would post a better picture of the serial number of the unit. Looks too blurry to make it out.

So i contacted the Seller where i bought it the Unit (Tomtop/Kkmoom). I was told they are working on an update and it is currently in testing phase. How true this is... no idea.. but it doesn't hurt to believe hahaha

After some research I found out who makes it. So I will be sending them a email to see where can I buy it in the states. Once I do I will make a new thread. I like tomtop but hate that a lot of features doesn't work properly. You would think it would work for the 300 bucks we paid for it.

So everything in the unit works really well,


I like that it looks like the OEM Sync.
I can control the AC from the screen as well!

Problems:
1. I can't figure out why my temp is incorrect, it was accurate on the old 4" screen.
2. I can't find a way to adjust the brightness of the screen (I don't really care).

Got it for around $550 with the installation.

Just posting some of my opinion about the unit here.

As I can speak Chinese and have been in the place where Tomtop is located for a couple years, I will talk about some stuff about such units.

1. Those units are only produced due to the reason that mustangs are being imported into china starts 2015 and the original plan is to transfer some android tablets as head units but due to the steering wheel controls and other stuff, they just tested with some windows equipped tablet which could be fitted with MFT and it actually worked.
2. Although navigation appears to be something indentical to the stock one, it is actually some other software that has been equipped with redesigned UI to look like the stock software.
3. On the market there, there are head units that are compatible for almost every vehicle (those are avaliable in china), some of those has some really sweet sound qualities and stuff however, only few of those could display english correctly.

I am actually contacting a friend of mine and he is working on making a system that is compatible to mustangs and could possibly run sync3. Apple car play might not come soon but android auto won't be far. If anything happens I will try to let you guys know .

If theres something confusing during installation and some part of the instruction is in Chinese, I can help translate those. Just let me know.
