Thank you for the response, Elvis67! Yes, I have a 2016 GT which I believe will have the harness.
After unplugging the harness, would you recommend just cover the connector/end with electrical tape? (I apologize for the dumb questions lol, I'm still new to the car-world)
Awesome post! I'm glad I found this thread because I thought I was the only one who hated the redundancy of "P -RNDS" on the main unit and on the button itself.
I purchased the parts necessary to replicate this with a red knob (since I have red stitching in my GT/CS interior).
Question: what...
My sentiments exactly. Perhaps I do have a leak, in which I will get it welded shut tomorrow, but I'm positive the tick (exactly the same noise posted in the videos in this forum) will remain. This is becoming a headache.
Quick Update: After installing chassis ears, Ford's noise diagnoses led them to a spot-hole on the top of the flange of my right exhaust manifold (headers?), causing an exhaust leak. They think this is the reason for the tick. The part is under warranty, so my mechanic will re-weld it Monday...
Yes, maintains all parts needed to pass smog. The part even comes with a CARB EO sticker to ensure you pass visual inspection. Here's a link if you're interested:

I'm a newbie to all this, so forgive my ignorance. According to American Muscle and LMR, it did not need to be re-tuned (note: They're shorties since LT headers aren't CARB compliant).
Just stuck with the ProCal tune that came with the Power Pack.
I traded in my previous car for a Shadow Black, 2016 Mustang GT California Special -- growing up in the 90s, an all black FoxBody 5.0 was my dream, and to see a blacked out California Special (I live in Cali) was an omen. Long story short, I eventually purchased the car last August with 28K...
Not the best quality pics, but here is my Black CS/GT. I traded in my Oxford white for it not too long ago.
I changed the rims and removed my decals, though. I prefer a more subtle look, with the exception of the Cervini Ram Air Hood :like:
Finally traded in my Oxford White (V6) for a Black, California Special GT.
Ahhhh, what a difference two cylinders make! Gotta change these horrid rims, though.
In 2016, they allowed CA drivers the option of selecting 1960's Black and Yellow Plates (as opposed to the current white with blue text). Just an extra fee every year you pay registration.
In case anyone wondered where the cyclone emblems went, I ordered mine from Main Event Emblems. Any two color patterns, so of course I chose black and black ;)
I like it!
That's good work! It's unfortunate in Cali, Plastdip can only be purchased in cans. Although I can finish quality jobs on small projects, an entire car with an aerosol can (for me) wouldn't look as good as your work! Respect!
