To the track

Went out to the 1/4 mile yesterday, track was actually empty so you could basically hot lap. Couldn't do much better than 12.5, realized I can't 60ft this car to save my life.

I had a similar story. The car actually puts the power down really well. I was launching at 4200 and even with a quick slip of the clutch it was dropping out of the power band. I'm thinking I need to treat it like my old evo if I really wanna go fast and slip it from 5k or higher off the line. I really dont want to break the car though, so it'll get some suspension mods before it sees the track again.
For the record i did a 12.83 and a 12.74 at 113.7. 60's were right at 2.1 Stock pirelli 255s at 26 psi

Sent it, went 12.2 @ 112, stock clutch hates me now.

according to dragtimes calc: Density Altitude: 1619 feet
Relative Density: 95.35 %


Tx speed headers, custom catback, lund tune 93, et street ss, cradle lockouts, diff bushings.

What were stock times and mph in a similar DA? With your mod list and that DA I would have thought your MPH would be around 115+

Same track it went 13.1 at like 108 stock, I could be wrong can't find those slips at the moment.

Not sure what could be hurting the MPH.

One possibility could be your shifting and at what RPM I know back when I had my s197 that had a Off Road H pipe and tune my mile per hour would vary from a low of 112 all the way up to 116 with the majority runs of 114
