If first gear is useless then you need taller gears. So the short 3.73 gears are an issue.
Don't see where I said that first gear was useless. What I said was the blower and gears allow for easily starting in 2nd gear for cruising. I use first gear quite often.......and effectively....

The PP is way more than 6 piston Brembos and a Torsen, there is a ton of other stuff different as well. Bigger rad, K brace and a pile of suspension parts that are unique to the car. Go through Ford Racing's parts pages on S550 suspension and you'll see all kinds of stuff that says "standard on '15 and up Performance Pack". The suspension is just that much better than the plain GT but without any harshness. Your wife will even like riding in it, which may or may not be a good thing!

It is by far the best deal going IF you even remotely think you might track the car. If you're just going to drive it on the street or drag it, you probably don't need it. The PP was the only reason I traded my '11 Brembo GT on this car. The PP with the Recaros and no other options on a Base GT gave me the best and possibly lightest GT, perfect for recreational motorsports when a GT350R isn't an affordable option. I don't regret it for a second, it just adds a ton of value to the car.

^Audio part of your comment is incorrect. Low level signal from head unit, bypass amplifier entirely. Done. But, yeah, factory radios - no matter which - SUCK. SO. BAD.

(Nice choice on upcoming Steeda parts. Do add the LCA bearing to your list. You'll thank me later.)

Thanks for the tip on the LCA bearing, I will add that to the list.

With the audio u was referring to the signal quality coming out of the radio. it's a pretty low level at 1.2 volts at 1khz, and it's got a decent amount of distortion with a signal that starts to clip at half volume. Since I will be running a competition level sound quality system I just wanted a clean signal that I can boost to 18 volts for super low floor noise.. But like you said stock radio sucks!

Now if we could get 4 volts with little distortion I would be rocking
