APR wing but track the car. Bought an additional rear decklid to swap from this to stock with gt350 spoiler, which is on top the shelf above the windows.

Because race car ... Love your setup and garage flooring!

Can I ask what you wheel set up is? They seem staggered ...

Hi OP, I had a similar situation and loved the clean look of a spoiler delete until I needed it.

Current situation:

Track I use toyo proxies RRs 315-30-zr18s square
Street I use 305-30-r19 m sport cup 4s square.

I really don't care much about the street tires. They aren't bad for rain tires on track. I have had alot cheaper harder tires that stuck better in rain and lasted longer for street. When I finish these up I'll replace them with something hard and cheap but stickey in rain.

After all we are not racing on the street but burnouts are fun and look awesome.

How do you like your flooring? I ended up going with RaceDeck an although it looks cool, I have some complaints.

I have very sticky tires and the pebbles that I pick up cause micro dents in the flooring under the weight of my car. In the beginning it's no big deal but after a few years the sheen goes to hell and it becomes harder to clean due to all those little dents.

If you do go with this route I might suggest 2 layers of plastic or non-woven material (similar t flooring applications) to cut down on the clacking noise you get when you step on it.

The Pros are that it's very affordable, easy to apply and looks great if you don't have big ass sticky tires lol.

That’s good to know, thanks. I run Conti ECS in the summer and I’m constantly sweeping pebbles out of the garage in the summer. I’m hesitant to get the slotted tiles because I have a few slightly low spots where water will puddle for a day or two. Plus winter salt and crud will sit under there and still wreak havoc on the concrete. The other option I’m considering is an epoxy coating. But I really like the ability to do some cool designs with the Racedeck tiles.

I've moved this flooring 4 houses ago. Everyone wanted to pay me $0.50 or less on the dollar for it. I've had it for 14 years. You can spill anything on it and wipe it up, brake cleaner doesn't kill it. You can slide on it with a t-shirt and shorts. I'm planning on buying more and doing the other side of the garage.

Thanks. I live in the valley of the sun and convertibles are everywhere! I hated the blade spoiler - just did nothing for me. These cars have so much black trim, to me the more I add the better it looks.


Thanks! My last one was Race Red…I wanted to do a black and white one this time. The more black accents I add the better she looks.

They do look sleeper’ish and sleek without a deck spoiler/wing. I do like that look. I just prefer the more aggressive look. The difference is drastic In my opinion. Either way you can’t lose.
