Good info - but if the car is driven instead of it being looked at like a 1:18 diecast model, flat spots aren't an issue....

I didn’t know flat spots were an issue on modern tires anyways. My cars sit for weeks at a time, plus all winter when the salt goes down, and I’ve never had flat spots that I’ve ever noticed.

One tenth the cost and twice as useful. But the real solution is to air up to 45psi with special arctic air canisters. So unless you live north of the Circle your tires will shrug off cold like it's in Bermuda

They are not, unless you let them sit for 5+ years without any movement. Modern tires do get flat spots, but those quickly go away as the tire is brought back up to temp when driven on.
