I am sure this has been discussed many times, so I apologize now, but can you run 305/35/19's on the front stock rims
Other than these being cheaper than the 295's, are there pros and cons to doing this? Use car for street and track days
but is not a daily driver

I run 305’s in the front, no issues, and it helps a lot to reduce tramlining on the Highway.

Not really depending on brand there is some variation in size anyway.

I run 315s on not stock wheels mainly because they were on sale.

I have to wonder if the compound is different (stickier) on the 295/35 vs the 305/35 for more front end grip, and maybe that’s why it’s more expensive. I’m guessing @BillyJRacing is uniquely qualified to answer that question.

If it's not too much of a hassle can you take a photo of your wheel and tires. Would like to see how it looks on the stock rims. I might actually do this myself.

I have been running 305/35/19 PSS on the front on my GT350 for a year now. I do not like what the staggered tires do for the handling.

Please elaborate. What did it change?
My ‘19 handles great with the stock set up. Tram lines on certain pitiful roads though.

The stock GT350 has a 295/35 front tire and a 305/35 rear tire. The did this staggered tire combo to increase the understeer of the car. When it was time to replace the tires I put 305/35 all around. Then I installed a rear GT305R sway bar. The car has much less understeer and it more neutral.

The compound, construction, and tread are different front to rear to hit certain steering feel, response,, grip, and handling targets. Running the bespoke rear tire all around will improve front grip a little at the expense of those subjective qualities.

Here's another important read on what goes into designing and making tires (it applies to all tires, not just cup 2s):
