i'm in the process of ordering some wheels through vossen.
I want the new wheels to have the same specs as the R wheel, 19x11 - 19x11.5. with the same offsets. If i go with 19x11.5 in the rear I will have to wait for more forgings to be made in that size, Or i can go with a 19x11 rear, with no wait. So, Do i wait for the 11.5s to be forged, or do i go with the 19x11s and put a 315/325 on the rear?

i spoke with vossen and their rep was pretty adamant that the 19" barrels that they offer do not clear the calipers on gt350s. I'd double check with them to make sure you arent ordering wheels that wont fit.

How much longer is the wait? Considering its winter, i'd probably just wait and get the ones i really want.

Diego is checking with engineering on that part, I've heard the same from another source, If i cant clear a 19" then i will just step up to a 20" i suppose. If i go to the track i will just use my stock wheel/tire set up. I just don't see how some companies can offer a 19" barrel and fit, and others cant

I'm not 100% sure, But mine is my daily and i'll be driving it for the remainder of winter, but solid point, might as well wait the extra time and get exactly what i want. I just hope that i don't have to step up to 20s because of the caliper issue :headbonk:

You might want to check how 20's look too, IMO it is too much wheel for this car, doesn't look right. There is another thread on here about a guy who had to make some significant changes to his wheels without seeing them, and after he received them they looked horrendous. Make sure you know what you are getting and how it will look. Hate to spend all that money and get something you aren't happy with

There is a member here that did 20" VPS wheels on his 350, the 19s im not sure will or wont work, but I've worked with Diego very closely about this and Vossen in General since I carry their brand, and own a 350 to boot.

Just finished measurements on my car for some custom Work and BC Forged wheels for 2 GT350 members here.

The question is the wait time, does it outway your desire for the 11.5" rear.

That's what i keep hearing, I've heard 19s won't work, I've heard they will work, I've heard they might work lol. Diego with Vossen told me he's getting with engineering to find out exactly if i can run a 19" Wheel or not. I'm just having a hard time understanding how we have 19s from the factory, but can't get a 19" wheel in the aftermarket without clearance issues? And i know other guys are running 19s from forgeline, What makes vossens barrels different?

Its just the barrel the blank, for instance I do a lot of VS Forged wheels, amazing wheels light super affordable, but to my disappointment they dont clear the GT350 front calipers by 5mm :frusty:

It happens, but if youd like I can speak to Diego im very close to him see what info I can help them with.

Good morning and Happy Sunday!

You are able to run the 19x11 on all four corners without any issues. The offsets would need to be 24mm front and 50mm rear to sit exactly how the Project 6GR wheels do. The downside is that if you wanted to rotate the wheels, you would not be able to, unless you use a 19x11 on all four corners and use a 50mm offset and 25mm spacers and longer ARP studs on the front.

As for the tire sizes, we have easily fit 305/30/19 front and 325/30/19 rear on the 19x11/19x11.5 and also 19x11 square setup as well. However for the ascetic portion, it would be best to have a 11.5 accommodate the 325 width so the tire bulge is the same front and rear.

Here is an example of a 19x11 setup using the Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires with the 50mm offset on all four corners. This comes from our good friend Rick in Northern California that owns mustang6g .com

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free, we have fitted well over 100 Shelby GT350 vehicles for both track and street use, and some that luckily do both.
