Michelin SS fan here. We have the same rims. Car handles much better with 275/35R19 up front. The 295's on the 10 inch rim feel unstable. Michelin lists it as ok but the set up does not feel right. They make 305 for the rear. Rain or dry they handle great.

I ran NT555G2s on the daily and never had an issue with them personally. Not a bad bang for the buck either.

I just sold my OEM PP1 wheels today and am in a similar situation today wrt buying a wheel/tire combination. My shortlist is the SVE X500/R350 (size 19-10/11 staggered) on my '19 cona blue GT PP1. Wish PS4S were available in a 19 305/35.

Is there any drawback in having a 19 285/35 PS4S up front and a 19 305/35 PSS in the rear?

Depends on rim width.

From personal experience. 305 perfect on 11" rear. 275 perfect on 10" front with 285 maximum for sidewall stability. Only drawback to staggered set up is you cannot rotate your tires. But the look is worth it.

I think Chola is asking if there is any drawback to mixing tires....PS4 on front and PSS on rear.

Yes, that's my question
Contact Michelin directly with that question. They are the experts for their products. Not sure.

Its never ideal to run different models of tires because the handling can be unpredictable at the limit because the dissimilar tires will react differently in different conditions.

In this case, probably fine in the dry, but I’d be concerned the car will be prone to oversteer in the wet, because the MPSS are not as good in the rain as MP4S.
