Timing vs knock for E85/boost

I am.at 14 to 15 psi,and see 22 degrees of timing.Boost may be down.a little more now that i switched from cat deletes to long tubes.

I’d be pissed to only see 21 on e85. You sure it don’t go higher than 21 closer to redline?

It has been a while since I looked at my 93 logs but I am pretty certain that my car was only like 17-18 on 93. Who tunes your car? That seems a bit agressive to me.

Yea 21 on just 93 oct is pretty aggressive,the most timing i could run on 93 was 15 degrees,but i was at 15 psi of boost at that time.

15 was the max i ever saw on 93 as well

Could be the 93 tune is pretty soft otherwise. Boost psi is just part of the equation. Cam tuning could be less than ideal creating really low cylinder pressure allowing more timing.

I guess it depends on how it runs. My car went 10.8 at 132 on 93 right off the highway on a 95 degree day. I was on 19" drag radials with the stock stall.

PBD zero knock with the tune. But it’s 17.5 until lit gets to upper RPMs

I'm at ~23.5 degrees on the top end from 6500rpm - 8200rpm on E85.

what is ballpark timing on a E85/10psi setup at 0 knock? I'm seeing 18@0 and up to 21.5@-3 ... does that seem right or a little conservative?

Depends on how good your "E" is....
I have seen as high as 21-24.... and even 26 (11psi) however turned it down, to keep it safe.
