I feel a thump in the steering wheel when I lightly tap the brakes at low speed, basically creeping along under 5mph. If I apply more sudden brake pressure, a thump can be felt in the steering wheel.
Originally thought it was the factory end links in the front, so I replaced them with whiteline end links, but it didn't do much. Most prominent when car has been driven for 10 minutes or so.
Is this just the brake pads sliding in the caliper or, could it be something more serious. It does not do this when slowing down from a higher speed, only sub 10mph.
Taking the car to the dealer for a different issue today, but wanted to see if I should bring this up, or if it's normal.
