After getting the supercharger installed, I have noticed a distinct whistle/squeal coming from the car. Only happens between 1500-2000 rpms. Any higher or lower and it goes away. Took it to the shop today and was told it was the throttle body whistling at that range. The problem is, the sound is as annoying as all hell and I want to remedy it.

Anybody have the solution to this? I haven't been able to find one.

Much appreciated.

Mine makes a whistle noise at idle but only when temps are cold. I had the whistle last winter but during the summer it was gone. Now that temps are in the 20s and 30s, it has come back. Once the engine warms up, it no longer does it. At first I thought it was an idler or maybe the belt but I really have no idea.

Mine does it regardless if the car is warm or not. Only between that 1500-2000 rpm range. Incredibly annoying, sounds like a squeaky belt but it isn't. I have had other supercharged cars that didn't make this noise.

Certain belts/pulley combos will whistle. Trapping air between the belt and pulley.

Any chance you could post a video of the issue. A lot of centrifugal head units will whistle at different rpms depending on pulleys

As requested. You can hear the whistle starting around the 12 second mark.

Wow....that would be annoying. Hopefully, someone can help diagnose it.
