I'm attempting to gather a database for all my mechanically uninclined Mustang drivers in the DMV area for shops that do reputable work. I can do little small things but I don't have a garage or tools to attempt major projects, any work I do is at the Auto Hobby shop on JBAB.
Post the shop/location that you used and the work you've gotten done and a comment about their work if they did well or not so well. Some people are willing to drive 2-3 hours for good work/prices so if you've gotten work done in SE PA/DE or Richmond/VA Beach area feel free to post as well.
Hopefully if there are enough posts we can get this sticky'd
Wheels and Tires
House of Dubs - Laurel, MD - Lots of quality wheels in stock, some cheap wheels as well. He can order wheels from certain manufacturers
Big Boy Toys - Oxon Hill, MD - Lots of quality wheels and great prices, and you can negotiate. They don't offer much besides wheels and tires.
Tint
Cutting Edge Tint - Silver Spring/Gaithersburg, MD - Talk to the shop owner (Terrance) if you want anything done besides tint, he's at the Gaithersburg location. They did an excellent job, offer superior quality film and lifetime warranty on their work.
Onpoint Detailing and Tint - Beltsville, MD - An average tint shop, they did pretty good work. They detail cars as well. I'm not sure about the quality, check their Instagram (@onpointdetailingandtint)
Exhaust
Ford Masters - Clinton, MD - Haven't been to them but they come highly recommended from Speed Unlimited (Camp Springs, MD)
BA Performance - Burnt Mills - Silver Spring, MD - I haven't gotten anything done yet, but they're putting in my CAI and installing my resonator delete this week.
Wrap
House of Dubs - Laurel, MD - They do wrapping and tint as well, I can't speak on the quality
EurobeatWheels - Gaithersburg, MD - They offer a variety of services for pretty reasonable prices, if you email the shop owner they will gladly send you a detailed quote explaining their prices.
