Thoughts on my Limp mode fault?

I was in stop and go traffic descending a big hill. I was in 2nd and went to shift into first, and the rev match did not kick on and I didn't notice and I jolted the car a bit going into gear.

I immediately got a wrench icon, drive modes unavailable, anti stall and rev match gone, etc.

Pulling over, shutting car off, opening doors to fully shut off computers, re-started and it was back to normal.

Got a note in the Ford app about drive train failure.

Any thoughts on what just happened?
