100% agree - even at 2500 full throttle feels like lugging it.

Probably nothing wrong but I prefer lots of brief periods of WOT and closed throttle to seat the rings as well as possible for max power.
Not sure I understand your terminology. Are you saying don't floor it in higher gears but ok in lower gears for brief periods then let the engine brake by letting off the gas?

The way the car is geared you should really avoid WOT in at least 5th and 6th gears at street legal speeds - especially during break in. Even 4th gear is marginal for any full throttle use on the street IMO.

Yes I am saying the best break in includes brief periods of full and no throttle exactly as you are stating. Engine braking helps to seat the rings just like full throttle does.

Keep it out of 6th for the first few hundred miles IMO.

If break-in was of critical importance, the instructions would be much more detailed. They even say "no EXTENDED periods of WOT in the first 100 miles". That means brief periods of WOT are fine.

1. Let the oil warm up before getting on the car hard
2. Vary the load and RPM
3. Vary the speed within reason
4. Don't do a track day until after 1000 miles.

Basically just drive normally, with maybe some additional shifting and speed variation.

And full throttle away from a stop. EVERY TIME! Just because it's fun.

This. I don't understand what's so complicated about that.
