Not sure I agree with that, the H.O. twin V6 is getting the job done...done quite well actually. It would be nice to have the v8 s/c option, and key word is option.
I'm cool with that. Any V6 doesn't interest me in a halo vehicle, but I understand some people don't care as long as the power is there.

Objectively, yes. Unfortunately it sounds awful, just like almost all the EB engines. Ford has a knack for making their turbocharged cars sound garbage.

I don't know of ANY 3.0-3.5L TTv6's that sound good.

The GT-R sounds pretty good. There are definitely a few others. Ford's are some of the worst for sound, though.

A GTR also is like 90+K so likely has had a lot of time put into its sound development

Funny. I literally just got back from test driving a Genesis G70 3.3T. The other two guys along for the drive both immediately said "this thing sounds awful". Can't disagree with them. Back on topic....as Ninjak said, it would be best if this was set up as an option, or else Ford might have to price the Raptor out of range of their target market.

The stuff that makes it sound good doesn't cost any significant amount more, it's just design choices.

GTRs donā€™t sound great.

The 17+ have active exhaust, but still super quiet and shop-vac-esk.

My ā€˜14 was brutal, very quiet.

I realize you are excepting the Alfa Giulia 2.9 TT V6 in your statement, but in general that's the only TT V6 I've heard and thought it sounded good.

They do sound awesome. But then, they are 2.9L. If they were 3.0L they would sound like ass.

Iā€M KIDDING!!

But they do sound awesome.

Now your talkin. I felt my '17 raptor was missing some horses. 150HP more and a nice snarl and it'll feel just about right.
