It's about $300,000 or so for that GT correct? That puts that LE at around $89,000.

Have to take into account the color and options. I agree it's high, but it's probably right in line honestly. I think that GT is probably more around $320k, so, still too much for the mustang they're "including".

Thing is, someone will probably buy them. I wish I had that sort of disposable income!

Two cars for the price of ten?

I did a double-take before I realized the GT was a GT and not a Mustang GT. Pretty good way to get into collecting Fords. Not sure why the seller is trying to get rid of them as a package deal - could almost definitely get more money selling them separately, and make room on the lot when one goes and the other stays. The LE is almost an accessory, priced next to the GT.

Mostly irrelevant: I think the GT is the best-looking car of all time. OF ALL TIME. That is all.

Weren't the GTs like $150k new? I know my local dealer had 3 of them in their showroom at one point, alongside a Cobra R.
Doesn't seem like that good of a deal, but theres a new GT coming out and maybe they just want to clear the floorspace.

GT's have doubled in price in ten years. I believe they're the only post-millennium American car that's appreciating.

Yeah, I did a search for Ford GT for sale. The cheapest one that I found was $239k but most were around $300k.

I think they were a pretty good deal when they were new, given their performance, heritage and exclusivity. However, back then I think potential collectors/investors were afraid Ford would soon introduce a GT-like sportscar to be positioned between the Mustang and the GT, to compete with the likes of the Corvette, 911 etc. However, that never materialized until now. We would see a drop in '05-'06 prices after the new GT is revealed, depending on whether it's as exclusive, fast and drop-dead-gorgeous as the old one. Just my opinion...I don't think the GT could be made better-looking.
