Hey all,

I had a question to ask all of you. Which intercooler would you recommend for the type of weather we're having here in AZ?

I have a '17 Ecoboost and love my car. But lately, with these temps here in the Phoenix Metro area being over 110 - and approaching 119! - I've seen the IATs going almost 40 degrees above ambient.

I'm one of the lucky ones who does work from home. But even going out of the house to run some errands, I can't avoid the increase in temps with my God awful stock intercooler. So it's time for an upgrade.

I would love to hear what you all would recommend.

Thank you for your time!

When I had my 18 Ecoboost I replaced the OEM intercooler with the CVFAB Street intercooler and worked very well for me. Did a decent amount of canyon runs and the car stayed cool most of the time. Feel free to look at other brands but CFV worked well for mine. I'd recommend getting a tune if you don't already have one to have the car running at it's best. I had the COBB Accessport, CVF Street intercooler with hot and cold charge pipes, Airaid intercooler tube with drop in K&N performance filter, and NGK spark plugs. Car had no issues for the 2 years I had it.
