Update:
After the dealership denied there was anything wrong with the glass (after 3 visits with pictures and measurements)
i wrote to Deysha from Ford Service here at mustang6g and she put me in the right path.
i just received a call from Ford Regional Customer service and im scheduled to go to the dealership tomorrow to get the glass repaired by a glass company.

keeping my finger crossed.......
Great, Vanel27!! Thanks for the update!

Don't believe what your dealer says - it isn't true.....

It's your window, my car is at the dealership now getting the rear window replaced.

Essentially what happens is that the sealant is applied by a machine at the plant and for some reason it's lighter on the drivers side then it is on the passenger side, causing it to look lower on the drivers side.
And you are still believe on Santa?
My dealer did cut out all windows in the back to measure the body on some spots. Believe me that the crooked rear window has nothing to do with the sealant. It was already posted from a couple owners. The left rear quarter panel is a bit lower welded in than the right quarter panel. I posted already pictures month ago about this issue.

As long customers don't care what quality the new Mustang has, FORD will not change the poor quality they produce. Shipping out Mustang LE with the same issues shows really that FORD doesn't care at all.

Bit shocking that they are selling them like that.
I can only advise that you don't buy a S550 until you see it in front of you. Mine was a nightmare! The quality is worst than the first Japanese cars in the 80's.

I can only say it again and again. If you order a Mustang get it in writing that you are allowed to refuse it without penalty! My dealer and his body shop people refused to work anymore on my Mustang and the dealer - NOT FORD - offered to buy my car back.

Make sure you like what you buy and it has quality! :headbang:

Break light had to be ordered and replaced, a glass company had to come and remove the glass and reapply sealant, and install (same glass).....is near perfect now (still a 1 milliliter difference.....hardly noticeable)
Dealer provided car rental for the 2 days it took to get the job done (is only 2 hour job for the glass, but we left the car overnight to make sure sealant dried properly)

Great customer service from Ford and Dealer Service Team

SPECIAL THANKS TO DEYSHA!! (Ford Customer Care)

The US GT that my dealer has got for his display, because there are no UK ones yet, looked like the picture above.

Bit shocking that they are selling them like that.

Welcome to American labor union quality

So is this an issue with the early cars only? Any late cars with this?

Bump to an old thread. 2016 GT350R and mine is crooked so they didn't seem to change anything. I doubt I'd risk a trip to the dealer for a repair though....

I am going to see a dealer this week to look at fixing this that has re/re'd the glass with new glass on a few cars already with great success. Mine is off by about an 1/8th to 3/16th. I connected with a member that had it done by this dealer (and lead me to them) who is very happy.

Having said this, I've asked around (dealers and glass shops) and I have not walked away with a lot of confidence that everything will be okay when it is done. Concern really was more about what it will look like after replacement and whether it would be level. Paint scratching at frame was also a concern by some however with the wire/string method of removal this should not be an issue if done by an experienced glass tech.

There are likely sheet metal issues (roof line is a little lower on drivers side) and or there may not be enough sealant on the drivers side to compensate if necessary. In addition the suction cups that lay the glass in on the drivers side at the factory do not hold the glass in place long enough for the sealant to set up properly so when it releases the glass sinks (this last point was noted by a member who used to work at Ford). This is also not helped by the third brake light not being aligned properly (again likely sheet metal issues).

In my case the fix 'maybe' just leveling the 3rd brake light, not sure. It is slightly off level with roof line. Adjustment may not make enough of a difference. Fix may involve adjusting glass and light. I've seen a lot of 17's with this problem too.

If you want detailed pics of the third brake light (360 degrees), there is one on ebay right now.

Cheers

 WOW. I can't believe this is still going on. They should have fixed this long ago.

Ford should have fixed A LOT of things that still exist on new 2017's:
Driveline vibe issues
Failed EVAP cores
Non-modified engines blowing up or failing miserably
Interior rattles
Wheel bearings failing
Loose rear axle nuts
Body panel alignment
Rear diff failures
Axles needing replacement
Driver/passenger door misalignments
Hood lift/fluttering @ speed
