I was refering to the mid pipe try to keep it oem close to the boss oem but I do thinks it would be very hard, and as for sound I was thinking the borla type s or the FRPP touring catback, making the H pipe and adding the cutouts that might do it for me.
Oh my apologies, I misunderstood you. Looking at the pics of the Boss 302 midpipe, I think it would be pretty easy to keep it looking OEM actually. Purchase these http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-electric-exhaust-cutout.html , and attach your custom h-pipe to them with the side pipes. I can't find dimensions of anything but I bet a shop could do that very easily (especially if you show them the boss 302 pic) and would probably only cost you $150-200 for parts and labor. So around $700 total...

Great find, yea I probably star look around to find the best price and if it would be around $700 with the cut outs that would great, its a lot cheaper than the ford racing one.

I looked around on several sites, jegs, summit, AM, etc, and they were all around the same price. Summit had them for $474 but that was the cheapest. I think QTP Cutouts are a little cheaper but this seems to be the brand of choice by several ppl including a shop/track car. Def agree though, $700 is well worth it and a lot cheaper than the other leaving room in your pockets for premium catback. Just remember there might need to be some modifications done to that as well for connections.

Haha I think there is a thread on here about hot to install them and where to run all the wires for a nice OEM finish. I'm sure there are plenty of good ole boys in texas that can do a good job for a fair price. Hope everything goes well and I look forward to seeing some updates!
