Thinking about purchasing

Hi everyone, I am almost set for purchasing a 2016 Mustang GT PP with the track pack. It is looking like using the XPlan I can purchase it for 37250. I was looking into the 750 EAA discount as well if that is still available and $500 private cash if it comes in. Fingers crossed.

There is currently a $500 incentive on the car. Does anyone know about what the upcoming incentives may be? Will I be better off waiting until November for purchase or can I negotiate better than Xplan at the end of this month?

I'm at about the same point with a 2016 Mustang GT Premium w/ MT. I was quoted xplan pricing including $99 dealer prep at 34,792 + TTL. I ordered a brochure that would have included 750 private cash offer, but dealer said that would expire before the estimated 8 week order / build / delivery time. She recommended I have my wife go in and order a brochure closer to the delivery time and they would be able to see this in their online system and apply the additional 750 offer

Just don't know if I should wait til November or not. Wondering if anyone had any "inside" information. I seem to have bad luck and purchase a couple days before the discounts come haha

The car specced the way I want it is sitting on the lot right now. Just arrived with a Wednesday build date. It is about 50 mins from my house but not a problem driving. Your really not going to get inside info...speculative maybe but who knows.

My local incentive jumped to $1000 recently until 11/2. On top of the $750 EAA / $750 private cash offer.

There will probably be some special for holiday season; just like every year. But unless it's the 0% for 72 month + $1000 cashback like the Labor Day deal (doubtful because that was to clear out the '15s to make room for '16s) then I don't think the savings will be all that dramatic. But that's just me; I was more concerned with getting my car as soon as possible than saving a couple hundred here or there.

Is the $1000 incentive for the 2015 or 16? If I get the private cash and the rebate goes to 1000 I would be so happy. The EAA thing I still need to look into. I get Xplan through my work but for 750 extra I would for sure join. Hoping my brochures will be here today and have the private cash!

Also has anyone used truecar? They are saying $37100 on the car and that is without xplan. If so that is even better and then I can apply the 750 private cash on top of that. If not Xplan and Eaa as well as private cash are better.

I have searched high and low and haven't found a definitive answer. If anyone has the fine print of the EAA that would be great too. Thanks!

From what my dealer told me, there is only $100 difference between X-plan price and Truecar. But Truecar is only available for in stock cars. My car has been held up for whatever reason and I signed up for some brochures.... it would be nice if I got a Private Cash offer in it. That helps lessen the pains of ever changing ETAs.

Hey nortoncommando - Call the Ford marketing department. I was looking to purchase on saturday and my brochures haven't come yet. They gave me the code and it had been loaded into Vincent. They also have the ability to give you one if you hadn't been selected *I believe*.

On the car I was looking at truecar was actually ~700 less than x plan.

I went to purchase the car but they had backed it into a cinderblock wall and the bumper was all messed up. Not bad enough for them to notice supposedly (I assume it was a lot boy and kept it quiet trying to keep his job) so the search continues. Still trying to figure out if you can combine EAA and private cash.

Thanks Mazza. I did call the marketing Dept and told them that I was looking to buy a mustang...or a camaro. I flat out asked them if they had a coupon and they said they didn't have ability to give anything out over the phone. The woman said she'd send me a brochure though. I'm hoping that it will come with some sort of coupon/private cash.

Go online and request them as well. I spent 20 on the phone and I think she got annoyed of me and gave me one. I said the same thing mustang or challenger and the private cash would help. I gave her both addresses I used and she said nothing was coming up then magically she had a number for it. I am sure you'll get one!
