My dealer was useless as well. Call Ford customer service, talk to some girl from India and start the process of Ford partially covering the repair.

Just an update. Disconnecting the cables off the battery for 10minutes seems to have fixed the issue.

Did it in the garage on stands as well. What I did was place the jack under the resonator with a piece of 2x4 inbetween...unhooked the exhaust from the hangers and slid the whole thing out on the rolling jack.
