Thinking about getting another Mustang, questions

I really loved everything about my 2015 GT with PP except for the clunky shifter, cloth seating, and lack of apple CarPlay. After a year and a half of driving a Fiesta ST I am considering trading in for a close out 17 or deal on a 16 GT premium with PP, manual tranny. I really dig the grabber blue with black wheels.

Any changes between the 16's and 17's that would make one better than the other for a daily driver?

Did they ever do anything to improve the shifter on the 6G after 15?

Only changes for 17 was exterior color options as far as I can remember.

17 you have upgrade usb hub for carplay.
17 also lacks turn signals in the vents.
grabber blue is available on 17 only.
they "fixed" the heated/cooled seat issue by adding an air duct to draw fresh air from bottom of the seat.

The shifter is fine. The clutch pedal feel is the problem. There is absolutely 0 feed-back through the pedal.

there is no real big difference. if you dont like the transmission get the auto. we all know for the manual Shifter/ fluid/ clutch and thats as good as it gets. auto is pretty amazing.

Agreed. Shifter is nice but the clutch pedal feel is not good at low speeds

Super cheap and easy fix. Remove the clutch assist spring and replace with Steeda version, or leave with no spring. Night and day better.

ironically enough my 17s cooled seats are lightyears worse than my 15. and my 15 didnt have the 3d printed fix

True. But easily solved with Steeda's cheap clutch spring kit. And the shifter, not the worst one I've ever used but certainly not the best.
