Down shift felt like something let go at home. Clutch feels like it has pressure I didn't see any leaks but it did smell like burnt rubber when I got out the car. Problem is typically on other cars when the clutch would out it would start without pressing it. I still have to press the clutch to turn the car on but it will not go in any gear. Turn off it pushes into all gears without clutch. As you can tell from how this is written I am not mechanically inclined and hoping its just a clutch job.

There is a clutch switch that will not allow the car to start unless the clutch pedal is down. Is it making any noise in neutral with the engine running? It's possible the clutch material actually came apart as that has been known to happen with the stock setup.
