I have a 16 gt full bolt on cobra jet and e85. 4K miles on it of mostly spirited driving and about 10 passes at the track with 17x10 Hoosier slicks. I was at the track Tuesday and did 4 passes with no issues the. On the 5th pass when I went to shift the car to second gear the clutch pedal stayed on the floor and popped back up when I crossed the 1/8th mile finish. I smelled a little clutch burning but wasn't to bad. I let the car cool off for an hour and then drove the car home with no issues. I got on it a few times and it's not slipping and seems to be shifting ok. Any one else experience something like this? I'm wondering if the pressure plate over heated or possible the clutch fluid line overheated.
