Last night we got tons of snow, about 5" plus and it was another ultimate test for the Stang. This time it was about going up a really steep hill off a highway.

This particular hill had not been plowed and had 2 Hondas stuck struggling mid way. As soon as turned in, the Stang just sat and got stuck. I just reversed back to the highway shoulder and continued to use another route.

Conclusion, the Stang cannot make it up steep hills that are not plowed. My suby was beast going up that hill.
Winter tires on your car or no?

dunlop winter maxx here. you know, compared to the 235/50 on 17" rims, i didnt realize 19" rim lower profile would be such a big difference in handling.

I'm surprised you couldn't make it up that hill then but that is pretty deep snow for our cars.
This hill is about 70 degrees steep....im gonna attempt to attack it again today and take a pic..hopping no tracfic will stop me.

Good luck. I'm interested to see what this car can tackle in the snow.

Even though it's nice weather now, I'm starting to think about winter tires and wheels. Does anyone know - for sure - if the 17" stock wheels that come on the base V6 and EcoBoost would fit on a non-PP 2016 GT? That would be a cheap way to go, and I already have a set of Michelin Ice 17's... Could I be so lucky?
