Update for this year. I ordered my whipple 11-20-24. Wanted to have a timeline in mind so contacted seller that day. Was told possible 2 weeks or 6 to 8 weeks. Few weeks later contacted again hoping for update and then told 10-12 weeks from order date. Today 02-12-25 marks 12 weeks. I contacted again....... cannot make this up. I am told early April. This would bring my wait time to 20 weeks. All I was told was whipple is extremely backordered.

@Boz92 did you check with @beefcake ?
Funny you asked that I actually went through and contacted multiple sellers today and everyone said 10 to 12 weeks. I am just at a loss how mine is 8 weeks out (supposedly) but if I was to order one today from anyone including my current seller it's 10 to 12 weeks. Something just seems off.

Whipple partnered with VMP and is now making VMP branded Gen6 superchargers. I suspect that with that partnership along with their own business, they probably have bitten off more than they can chew.

I wouldn’t say that at all the issue mainly is the fact that there’s no tuning for the 24 and up Mustang or the 24 F150 so the only way to get power is pretty much a Whipple supercharger

The Vmp unit is simply a Whipple supercharger with a different lid on it so there’s no difference in engineering or tuning. All the superchargers are exactly the same.

And it’s just not Mustangs. There’s even a lot of the GM stuff that doesn’t have access other than Whipple so Whipple was like King daddy right now.

What do you mean by doesn't have access, my neighbors ZL1 has a Magnuson 2650 fully tuned....how much more access do you need?

I confrimed, I have 2 18-23 kits left that were ordered at the end of october available to ship to you without a huge wait if you need one and want to jump the line 3-4 months

Yes same car.its 2016 f150
The hellion kit awesome upper rpm power i liked it alot till it started smoking out the exhaust.i sent the efr turbos back and they said it was good.come to find out it was the oil scavenging system.for some reason it wasn't pulling oil from turbos into valve cover.I replaced the whole oiling hose with 1way orfice after the turbos and it still smoked out the back.i got tired of messing with it after 2 months of getting under the car and tightening exhaust bolts so i got a whipple kit.its been 2 years with the whipple and not a problem.with the whipple i can upgrade the whole exhuast system but with the hellion the stock exhaust manifold is used which is restrictive on f150s.if i had to do it all over again i would give the hellion 1more chance and change to electric scavenging pump.
Both kits are nice.i think theres alot less work with positive displacement blowers than turbos.

Git-R-Done. You have plenty of time to install prior to warmer weather. Keep us posted.
