Today at ModURStang, Mike mentioned they're working on these in-house. He's not sure on timeframes yet, but they are working on them (LED Tribar + Indicators). There's obvious issues with opening the units as they're sealed tight!

Ian knows all of these perils; to be honest, once we've got one person on the forums trusting a supplier of these at a reputable price, the money will pile in for whatever company that is... especially as there's a good 30+ people willing to pay out for them in some form (fronts/rears).

Anyway; shouldn't joke with Ian, the guy who's got his lights evidently being a dicksplash!

I've had notification that my Diode Dynamics switchback tri-bar lights have now shipped after being delayed several months as they were sorting out an issue with the EU drivers.

However, I originally ordered them on a drunken whim without even considering the lights being a sealed unit.

Has anyone learnt anymore in the past few months about opening those lights up???

Still an oven job if your doing it yourself

Lots of led lighting places will open them up and fit them for you. But it's the wiring that will be the tricky bit

You don't need to cook them in a oven, you can use a blow torch to open them up, saw a video on YouTube seemed very easy that way

I haven't watched the video but I'll assume it's the same guy who showed people how to reveal the hidden headphone socket on their new iPhone with a DeWalt...

I'm pretty sure a heat gun dialled up would do it. Most of them if left in the spot long enough could reach the temperature required.

Just anything with enough heat to turn the adhesive into goop. Just make sure you have a sealant on hand for after!!!
