So as of now, where or who are our options to get our lights modified?

I have a hard time to believe that after a year and a half since the pony's arrived their is only one guy in Europe who does this mod. Still every custom shop I visit says they will/can do it, but behind the scenes they ship them to the same guy as well... :frusty:

Spoke with JW Racing (based in Dunstable) last week about this very issue. Their Mustang guy (can't remember his name, sorry) mentioned that he's in the midst of 'hacking' into their S550 show car headlights, which have already been removed, to see what's exactly in the those darn tri-bar 'reflectors'.
They stock the DD DRL LED boards and will see if they can be easily installed.

He's hoping to get it done within the next couple of weeks, before he goes on hols, but did say to check into to their facebook page for any updates (https://www.facebook.com/JWRacing.co.uk/).

Fortis Auto Design matey; only ones I know that can do it - they're waiting on a huge back order or LED strips (for rear sequencers), and DRL fins. However if you take your DRLs to them; with your car, they'll do it !

Other companies can do it, have spoken to a few at car shows, but the problem is "they dont want to do it" as its a total nightmare to do.

Easy to do, the pig is resealing the lights. Which should be done with a silicone glue, and some tape to prevent water incursion.

Actually sequencing the lights is a relay; they're readily available, then it's changing the bulbs to anything such as strips that are amber, putting a relay infront that says amber when indicating and red when braking etc.

Found their website but can't really tell from it where they are located exactly... since I will be going to the UK at some point to get my underseal done properly I might as well get my lights done as well...

Sorry Steve
Have heard its also a nightmare to get the light open without doing any damage, As why "has no company other then one" willing to do them?
As you say there are a lot of people who would love the shark lights on, loads of money to be made out of it

It's not that hard, surely. I think a lot of people just don't want to touch a mustang. Put these lights on a clio and your local migrant worker will give it a crack. Also far less cars to test on etc.

Diode Dynamic being down the last 3 months has kind of hit how many can come in - But Fortis Auto are the only company I know of that will do it all at a reasonable price!

Notes In the slough region of the country. They've got a couple of workshops, so they can put you in the closest one with the Mustang 'chap there :)!

My DRL lights sorted
Who by, how much, what boards are they running?

Also got pics of the light from above (Bonnet open) so can see the 'split' job on the lights?

Also (Wooooooooooow!) Back as they should be!

Wait a minute, you drive a left hooker... they're all like that ;)!

Lol, it's more the heating, splitting, and properly resealing that's the fucking pig.

No idea how US guys replace theirs if the DRLs go out, i'd fucking cry !
