Idk how familiar you guys are with the ECM flash ford did for the BOSS that turned it into a track animal if you used the "Red Key." But a buddy I work with at ford claims his brother got our local dealer to do the flash with His 2015 GT. They didn't give him another key but apparently the car stays in the mode permanently. Anyone heard of this before? The claycomo ford plant is here and all of us that work there know the local dealers really well. So its not impossible for me to believe but would it even WORK is my question?

Sounds like the guy who had the dealer install VTEC on his Cobra....

This is actually something that could be real. The 2015 has many similarities to the BOSS.

The red key for Boss actually dynod less power than the normal key. From what I could tell all it really did is enable better engine breaking and maybee throttle response

It didn't dyno less it was the same power wise. But it did change a lot of things for track use.

Others on svt forum had same results. Little loss hp. Little gain torque. The engine breaking on track key is awesome. Big difference.

thats easy to get the lumppy crazy idle, with vtec , just reduce the idle overlap on the tune, its like installing a big cam, but with electronics. its not worth any sort of power tho..
