Seems like you guys liked that style of photo so I figured id post one in a different setting.
Here's one in the middle of a park with Milwaukee's skyline in the background. The second photo is the "before" photo. There are actually 4-5 photos stitched together to make this shot.

Dude that is an awesome BTS video! I remember watching an FStoppers video on that as well though they took hours and hundreds of shots to create the same look. Ultimate I like your shots better. The only thing I would change would be to darken the lights in the background to help the car pop a little more but that's minor.

I just did my first photoshoot with a model and I'm so freaking excited how everything turned out. Right now I'm working with a few models to sell custom sets to car owners for their own rides. Might start posting some of those when things get rolling.

These are nothing special photos but some of these are the first time I've taken a photo with the 24-70 in about 6 months. The 35mm was pretty much married to my camera; haven't determined if that was a good thing or a bad thing yet...

Anyways... ordered the RTR side splitters and rear spats and got them on the car last week.

This isn't a car, but it's my new passion, my son. He was born early March, so I was looking to hire a baby photographer around here, all the ones with portfolios I like were priced in the $500+ range for like 8 pictures. So I decided to do it myself.

Shot on my Canon 6D with my 50 1.4
Ć’/2.0
50.0mm
1/320
iso 320

I shot this in the breakfast nook of our home, with 3 surrounding bay windows, an old ottoman I had in the garage with a blanket on top. I put two chairs behind the ottoman and draped the blanket up and over them to create the backdrop. Then I tucked a towel under the blanket to give the little props for his elbows.

To prep the area I had the ac turned off in the house, and a space heater right out of the shot to keep him warm. I've heard its great to have an electric warming blanket under the blanket the baby is on, but didn't have one. Perfect time to shoot them is between 5-10 days of life when they still get milk drunk. My boy however was not having it lol.

For the actual picture I chose f2.0 to get more in focus as 1.4 was too shallow for me, 1/320s to freeze him because he moves a little here and there or slowly drifts out of position. ISO 320 because there were clouds passing over here and there so I wanted to start off with decent exposure.

For the shot itself, it's a composite. I needed two shots, one hands up, and one from his hands down. For hands up we held his little wrists together and let him prop his head on his hands. For hands down we stayed in the same position and switched grip to his head and let his wrists go. For the composite I took the top and bottom pics without the hands and blended them in photoshop. For lightroom, just reduced contrast, brought down the highlights a little and bumped the shadows, also reduced some clarity. Few tweaks to the curve to bring up the exposure and there you have it. My first baby picture. Then I proceeded to take a bunch more. Saved myself some money and got some decent photos my wife and I liked.

Been slowly learning and developing my photo hobby since I got my Canon Rebel T6 last year for Christmas. Always trying to learn more. I think my car has been great for me to learn with too, since its a relatively unchanging subject. I will say I get some crap for the hobby sometimes (like when I took my camera to a big college baseball game the other day). But I do like the look on peoples faces when I show them the great photos I get compared to their IphoneX or whatever.

Below are a few photos I took this past week at some random locations I found around town.
The first is an HDR I compiled using the HDR tool in Canon's DPP software

The second is an HDR that google photos automatically compiled (I've been using the Unlimited "High Quality" storage to backup all my pictures to the "cloud" in addition to the external drive I have)

The third is just one of the first RAW images I have developed in the DPP software. Currently I am working on learning post processing skills since I started to realize I've been getting nice shots but beside slapping an instagram type filter on the JPG I didn't actually know what to do with them to make them look better than what comes off the camera.

If anyone knows any good photography resources please let me know. My struggle so far has been that when I try my google-fu I end up reading the same information multiple places or different opinions on the same topic and not learning much of anything concrete.
