Those are beautiful shots! They capture the car's lines very well. I think your feelings about the shots might be because the background elements are still somewhat distracting. Your depth of field might be just a tad too large making too much of the scene in focus instead of just the subject. Wide angle lenses are a tad more difficult to blur out backgrounds vs zoom lenses. If my lens couldn't isolate the subject from the background well enough I'd do that in post processing, just have to keep the editing as subtle as possible(something I sometimes struggle at haha!).

You could go about it in a few ways, the simplest(in Photoshop or Lightroom) would be to take a brush set to adjust sharpness(all the way negative) and brush over the background to soften them up. It is more subtle and easier to control. The more thorough way would be to take a selection mask and well that's beyond me at this point.
Thank you! Yeah that may be what it is. I haven't tried a blur in PP yet, I think I'll play around with it and give it a shot. Thanks for the tips as always man!.

What settings were you using and what is the max aperture of the 10-22 wide angle lens?

I know this isn't Mustang related but myself and a photographer in Arizona swapped photos to do an edit on ones of our choosing. I decided to do a stylized professional inspired edit and wanted to show a before and after. Post processing can do some crazy stuff. Haha.

:hail::hail: One day lol, one day. That pic and car are both gorgeous!
You pretty much have the same lens to make this photo. It's just a ton of layers and lots of flash.

When I'm finished with my car we need to do a Mustang shoot one day. I just went through 7 pages of epic car shots on your Flickr account...:ninja:
Always down to shoot some cars, got some more exotic shoots coming up so let me know!
