The ones of your engine bay are great, and the last one is nice. Same for the classic Mustang.

But, the crazy angles on the rest just kills it IMO. It's too much.

Attempted to take some real photos today for the first time. I'm usually a point and shoot with everything on auto photographer.

Equipment used: Old Rebel Xsi with a borrowed fixed lens from CompO5.sl0w. Thanks again, Trevor!

Pics are right out of the camera, no software editing. Have no clue where to even begin editing photos. Just curious to know. How did I do? Having no knowledge of what I was doing, I had a lot of fun.

I definitely think this is something I want to pursue more and look forward to doing it again.

Agreed. Wanted to try something different, but it ended up being too much like you said. Thanks for the help though man!

Looks great Les! You are definitely getting there. Glad to see you liked the 35mm Prime F2.0!

I like that you have a consistent style and have a good eye for composition. You may want to try having fewer eye-catching effects in each photo: racked-out wide angle, titlted horizon, lens flare, pumped-up saturation, etc.

Your first shot is my favorite. What grill is on the Mustang in that shot?

Went to a C&C this morning and used my 10-17mm I bought from @DarkSubRosa last week. First time going out with the lens, wish I would have changed a few things I did, but all in all it was a learning experience. Here's a couple,

Again as always, completely open to criticism. Tell me what I did wrong, right and should work on.

Did my first try on making a bit more "professionell" pictures of my Mustang (only made a few smartphone pics before). Hope you like it. Every feedback is welcome.

A picture I took with my Sony A6000 while in Cozumel last week on Spring Break. It took like 30 picture attempts to get one of these bird to get close enough so I could get their eyes.

Some pictures from this weekend. CompO5.sl0w i also picked up a 10-18mm lens this weekend!
I also picked up a polarizing lens but i cant figure out how to use it. I just get black spots on my screen.
Here are a few pictures with my 50mm f1.2 and my new 10-18mm

Thanks man! That makes complete sense, I'll try to limit the eye catching effects and see what I come up with. The grille the OEM GT Grille cut out with Custom Car Grille's SWAT Mesh Adhered to the back.

Watch your location for what is going to reflect in the car's paint. There are a lot of tree reflections covering the panels on the car. Dark color cars are notorious for this, if you have a Circular Polarizer it helps neutralize some of them but not all so watch your location.

If a better location is not possible due to time or what have you, then be wary of the angles you take or where you position the car within the location because that can still salvage the situation. In the photos above you got good angles and also kept the reflections to a minimum.

Rotate the polarizer and watch the reflections on the body/windows of the car, where the reflections are removed is where it is working. The job of the CPL is to cut out unwanted reflections in a photo.

I love the two shots above. The second one could have the car brought more to the left of the frame and slightly more up from the bottom as well but I like the shots, otherwise.

A couple shots of my dog I got after it snowed a couple weeks back.

Love the wide angle interior shots! Makes me want to jump right in and take the car for a spin. I agree the angles detract from some of the other images. I'm never going to look at a car with my head cocked to the side so it's just a tad too much to enjoy. Otherwise excellent shots!

These two shots are brilliant! The out of focus elements really allow the viewer to enjoy your focus points.

I like this one as well although what sticks out for me personally is maybe next time take it without the hose or whatever is hanging down. Otherwise very cool shot!
