it's not photography but it's in the same realm... here is some footage I got in west virgina on our way to PA and Ohio to visit my wife's side of the family for Easter. We stayed a night in West Virginia to check out the New River Gorge and of course...can't resist taking the drone just about every where with me...if I can get some free time I want to do one of my car... expect this drone to be all over mustang week though!

anyways here it is... inspire 1 pro with zenmuse x5 and polarizer filter shot in 4k. if you got the net speed Vimeo will play it back in 4k automatically.

I think you may have me sold on a Drone now lol. Right after I flip this AR I have sitting around. That's awesome! :headbang:

Love it!!
Love the wide angle interior shots! Makes me want to jump right in and take the car for a spin. I agree the angles detract from some of the other images. I'm never going to look at a car with my head cocked to the side so it's just a tad too much to enjoy. Otherwise excellent shots!
Yeah, those really shined. Agreed, thanks for the input as always man!

Took these last night, a blend of the 35mm Prime and 10-22mm Wide Angle. All in All I like them, but I feel like they are missing something, like boring.

Trevor - Those pictures look amazing. I LOVE you CO car with the black wheels, etc. It is just so perfectly executed.

Are you hosting your pictures somewhere or just attaching your images that have been scaled down to fit the size requirements on the forum? I ask as the quality still look really, really good.

Thanks Todd! I tried to edit without it looking over-edited. Have been shooting for a more natural look lately. All my pictures are on flickr, www.flickr.com/trevorwhittington . I upload full res to flickr and use their scaler to post on the forum which is 1024x683 .

THANK YOU!!! I am new to this photography stuff with my A6000 so it has been a bit of a learning curve on hosting pictures and getting them to look good when scaling them.

Its What I do! Though I haven't shot professionally in years. Life happened and my kids became my priority:cheers:

Those are beautiful shots! They capture the car's lines very well. I think your feelings about the shots might be because the background elements are still somewhat distracting. Your depth of field might be just a tad too large making too much of the scene in focus instead of just the subject. Wide angle lenses are a tad more difficult to blur out backgrounds vs zoom lenses. If my lens couldn't isolate the subject from the background well enough I'd do that in post processing, just have to keep the editing as subtle as possible(something I sometimes struggle at haha!).

You could go about it in a few ways, the simplest(in Photoshop or Lightroom) would be to take a brush set to adjust sharpness(all the way negative) and brush over the background to soften them up. It is more subtle and easier to control. The more thorough way would be to take a selection mask and well that's beyond me at this point.
