LMAO Falcons... your age could be showing. Knowing the Falcon, a Mustang it would be.

However the Falcon made the BEST looking gassers . And remain so, to this very day .

You own TWO Falcons? Lucky you :-)

I used to love my BA Falcon XR6. The Barra in-line 6 was pretty sweet. Never drove a turbo version, but it must have been unreal!

Don’t tell any here, but I used to prefer to drive the Falcon than my FM Mustang GT at the time. It was more nimble.

I have owned 4 Falcon's and driven countless. I have experienced all of the Falcon engines from the last 20 years of production, but have never had the pleasure of piloting the turbo Barra. It's on the bucket list!

My FG XR6 is probably the most balanced dynamically of my cars, so I can understand you preferring your BA. And I love the raspy inline 6 note!

My dream has come true at almost 65 . I have had many sports cars inclusive ofPorsche Careera and Cabriolet , BMW , Nissan 350Z , but the Mustang GT is something super special and a joy to drive and push thee revs when I can (QUOTE]

Wow this thread died.

You are very correct. Not sure what happened but I know that I've been absent for quite some time. Had some stuff go wrong on the car and missed almost an entire year due to Covid of doing fun things.

Keeping with the theme, here is my contribution of one of the few times I was able to do something this past year. Took the car down to Gatlinburg for a show in October and cruised through the mountains and fun roads.

My previous reply made me realize that I havent been sharing most of my work in places lately and I think It might be something I should start doing again. So, over the past year Ive traveled a decent amount and shot other things that havent been my car or my "stuff."

Its also pretty apparent that I havent checked in to update my gear opinions! I pre-ordered the R5 and have since gathered and replace a few of my lenses. I replaced my EF mount 24-70 F2.8 with Canon RF 28-70 F2; its WILLLLD to say the least - loving every shot. And I replaced my Canon 16-35 F2.8 USM III with the Canon RF 15-35 F2.8 IS lens. Having IS with the R5's IBIS makes for some crazy stuff.

Here is a collection of a few of my favorite shots.

YOU MAY HAVE TO CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO PIXEL PEEP (if thats something youre into) - apparently the forum doesnt like hosting the highest quality images when put all together like this.

These were shot at 1/10th of a second in a very very rough riding STI sedan.. and before the R5 got the same vehicle tracking the R3 introduced

Here's another one that pretty wild - this is hand held at 1/6th of a second.
