Mine always worked to open them, but they'd never close on their own. One of the diaphragms has/had a leak. Someday I'll either refurbish them or go to electric, but for now I just pulled them out and manually open and close them. My parents had a '67 that would close the lights if you stepped on it for too long.Oddly, the hideaways on my '67 Cougar still work flawlessly, most do not....
Yesss!No (I had to Google that), but when I saw the pic it reminded me of the hours and miles spent in the back of a 1970 Ford Country Squire with my brother who is 4 years younger. That wagon had the popular woodgrain sides with plastic wood trim. Just like this one:
