hahaha this crap is hilarious, you gotta take it with a grain of salt guys. why it happens with the mustang is simple rwd+fast+cheap=trouble in the hands of a bunch of young kids. its just the price we pay for having a top selling car people love to hate. i can tell you one thing you'll never catch me running into a crowd of people, revving my engine for no reason, or wasting my tires to impress someone who is not paying my bills, or blowing me. on a funnier note anyone see the camaro zl1 that ended up in someones pool, or the countless vette owners who have burned their clutch out doing a burnout. here enjoy [ame]

I've seen this happen on countless cars outside of Mustangs. Ever seen the Subaru community? They're full of asshats doing stupid things with their cars when leaving car meets. Not to mention majority of them are all young kids.

I sold my 2016 FBO E85 STi for the Mustang. Never once saw a Subaru do anything stupid here in Texas. I couldn't break the tires loose if I wanted to with my tires anyways. I enjoy seeing these memes. I think they're funny as fuck. As long as I don't contribute to the stereotype next time I leave a meet I don't care  I guess owning a mustang requires thick skin?

I will say though, Subaru owners are dicks. I got constant hate about my car being bagged. None of them wanted me to drag there ass on the highway though?

It's essentially a pervasive image, thought, or pattern that is spread throughout the internet like a virus.

A meme doesn't necessarily have to be mean, but it's the internet, so making fun tends to be the preferred approach.
Thanks, Ender.

Murphy: I'm 68 and retired. You too will reach the point in your life when you're no longer privy to the latest slang. You do know what they say about 'karma' . . .

Khyber: funny pic, but see above ↑↑↑ (hey, I can type real arrows).

I found these funny as hell.

There's stereotypes for every car, and unfortunately there are people willing to fit into those stereotypes. Don't be that person.

Unfortunately, a lot of mustang owners are @ssholes. I've known that for years. That's one of the things that made me pause before I bought this my second one.
I'm just glad I'm not one of them, though some may be among us.......

It's been a while since I've seen one do something dumb. The last time it happened was several years ago and it was damp outside. Watched a WRX hit a curb. Lately though, the cars & coffee at the Oasis in Austin usually has cops watching so people can't do this kind of thing unless they want a hefty ticket.

I would think the S550 crowd is more mature aged individuals 30+. It's not really a car you run out and buy when you're below 25 because of insurance. Not to mention, you won't catch me fishtailing in a 40k car either because:

A) Tires are expensive for low profile, wide summer tires that are good.
B) Watch Youtube if you want to see endless burnouts and street races.
C) Wanting to keep a car for a long time and take good care of it.

If you don't want people thinking stuff like that about us, than don't to stuff like that, especially in front of a camera

And don't act like an asshat when people try to talk to you about your car in the grocery store parking lot, etc. That's how you make a good impression to the community

The video with the Vette owner thinking he was burning the tires had me laughing my ass off! That stunt cost him a lot more than the $600 in tires he mentioned. Awesome!
