I will probably will end up coughing up, but the above link is useful for anyone wanting to see an episode before making their minds up, also some people may need a Firestick as well which would take the first year price to approx £95 a year (I'm using £5 a month as the cheapest option) which equates to nearly £8 an episode if that's all you want Amazon Prime for.

Not exactly cheap then is it.
Yes. Doesn't make sense for just that. I got prime for the free postage. Everything else is a bonus.

Same. Only found out we had the music service a few weeks ago and we have been prime members for a couple of years. Only problem is I get frustrated if something takes any more than 1 day for delivery.

I have it for free postage too

If you complain when it doesn't arrive in the 24 hours they usually give you a credit on your account. £5 - £10 . They are very goood that way

Sorry I meant from other places. But yeah I think in the whole time we have had prime we have had 4 deliveries turn up late and they have given us a free month. But in the last 12 months they have been very very good. I think something gets delivered pretty much everyday too.

Been a prime member for about 2 years so getting the G Tour is a bonus....also enjoyed it as a programme.

Is it me, or do we think the BBC should kill Top Gear and try something else? They can't compete with GT and it will only look embarrassing for BBC now. Having another bash will attract comparison and perhaps ridicule. Perhaps try a BBC version of 5th gear not Top Gear.........

I think they do a comparison between the new Mustang and Richard Hammond's classic Mustang, should be a good watch when it eventually comes out!
Gotta be better than that lame review they did on the current TG.

One word for the Grand Tour. Brilliant. Loved the banter, enjoyed the Mustangs at the start, great review of the M2 (agree with Clarkson that people want a simple exciting car now, don't want all this electronic bullsh*t) and good to see the track times of the hypercars (cherry on top was the Ferrari not being the fastest).

My biggest issue with the grand tour is some of the car tests are sooo old now. Like the 3 hyper cars. It's been done to death and better in my opinion. Check out hyper 5 from Salomondrin which in my opinion is done a lot better and on a private budget.

I really enjoy these programs for what they are for but YouTube is killing them now as they can get the content out tomorrow and for free.

Taking off my Mustang tinted spectacles I would say it was same old tired old Top Gear; but of course there's not necessarily much wrong with that. The opening sequence was superb but maybe it set the bar too high for the rest of the show. There are elements of internationalism (the NASCAR driver being the tame racing driver) which will have been dictated by Amazon; if the BBC had done that we would have all screamed "sell-out". The hypercar shoot out was a bit of a let down for me as only 2 cars were in most of it and the introduction of a 'control tyre' doesn't make sense. Cars at that level are matched to their tyres and should be tested in the spec they left the factory with. Suggests they didn't have as much control as they'd like us to think.

Still enjoyed it immensely and looking forward to the next one. BBC have already been filming the segments for the next Top Gear series so we'll get that too. As others have said, 2 car shows = win win for us.

Just finished watching, enjoyed it overall, even if it is more of the same. Good to see the 3 of them back:love: Really didn't get or see the point of the dead celebrity bit...perhaps a way of letting us know there'll be no more 'star in a reasonably priced car'

Brilliant start with nice homage to the Mustang at the beginning. I watched it in UHD/70". Beautiful photography. Even better than Top Gear IMHO.

Just watched it on Kodi (I can feel the seethe!).

Quite enjoyed it. Laughed so much at the first guest and his entrance that I woke the puppy up laughing so hard.

Some great cinematography (i thought!) but some of the chat was a bit wooden.

It's pennies to watch it legit. Why bother with the nasty illegal way?
'Cuz £70 is a tank of fuel :shrug:.

Tbf, I watch it legit, but I don't pay for it, so apples and oranges to that!
