Theer ain't no mustangs and I'm about 3/4 way through .
Assumed the U.K. Airing would be showing the U.K. Car bits but it's Dodge Challenger in Italy / Aston and rolls

He might be, but it isn't. The US reviews have been of the same show I'm watching, and the cost involved would be prohibitive.

That's what I thought. I'm in China at the moment so I'll check tonight (maybe the fab Ford Escort will feature :)). It's big plus that you can watch Amazon's global stuff wherever you are.

No, sorry- I mean they are set in the UK for this one soni thought the cutaway car scenes would be U.K. Based (where they shot the mustang stuff ) but it isn't.- it's in Italy

The car segments were (mostly) filmed long in advance; some of the locations (according to interviews.. so pinch of salt, perhaps) weren't decided until very late on, so I doubt they could tie them up in such a fashion.

Watched episode 3: better than last one, but still overly scripted (with very heavy-handed plots - e.g., Hammond is silly in a Hellcat). Reminds me of their Xmas specials, which I never liked either (all tourist-adventure and not enough shiny new mental). DB11 looks nice.

I honestly enjoyed Chris Hariss' Vulcan review from Top Gear (watched just that - on Youtube) than all three Grand Tour episodes all together - which - no doubt - were entertaining.

they should give tg show to harris in my opinion. think it should be more harris, and less rory. But i expect it will be more rory and less harris.

this weeks grand tour felt dragggggggged out

thought the first one was ok, 2nd one was pure crap, 3rd was boring.
But i was never a fan of the trio to be honest so I'm a little biased i expect.

its a tad dull but its done two things for me.
1. i don't desire a german aston one little bit
2. i quite fancy the dodge

i tried the maserati GT and its not a great GT. far too noisy.

for me the rolls wins the GT argument but i have to say a 5.0 mustang would make a good case for itself.

I thought episode 3 was much better.
Humour was about right
Cars bit was great
Hellcat just awesome. (I dont give a shit what underpinnings it has).

Was probably my favourite of the three to be honest.

I watched the first 3 over the weekend. Despite being more or less the same as Top Gear I actually enjoyed it more - can't quite put my finger on why though. Must have better script writers at Amazon!

On the car front; the opening sequence Mustangs - I'd take the GT350R, they could keep the other two, LaFerrari - yes please! (P1 close second, 918 close third!), M2 - I want to say yes but can't because of the looks, DB11 - meh, nice but my money would go elsewhere and the same for the Vulcan, Rolls - it's a yes from me, Hellcat - hell no!

The Holy Trinity thing I noticed was very similar to the Chris Harris (with Tiff and Marino Franchitti) thing from a while back - except in that one the P1 came out as easily the fastest (by easily, I mean more than a couple of tenths!). Something to do with the fact it had a full track mode (that dropped the ride height 50mm and also engaged other electronic trickery I think) that the other two don't have.

Everything I've watched that's "independent" put the 918 way above the others because of it's AWD, and the tranny of it
